Art Abloom: Classes

A FULL SPECTRUM ART EXPERIENCE

Art Abloom offers classes year round for all ages, toddlers to adults.

In a nurturing environment, student artists are encouraged to explore while celebrating their individual uniqueness.

DAVID SCOTT DELANY
joins Art Abloom.
David has been sharing his artistic talents and energy with adults and children since 1989. David began working with children in Santa Barbara after earning teaching credentials from the University. He subscribes to the Culinary Philosophy of Fine Art, which believes that growing hearts and minds require a daily dose of creative nourishment. David will be serving up piping hot helpings of creative offerings for Art Abloom patrons this Spring and Summer. His artwork can be seen at delanydesign.com.

Printing
Make images exploring various printing processes: mono prints, hand tints and more.

Drawing/Painting
Learn various drawing techniques using pencil, charcoal, ink, and oil pastel. We will experiment with watercolor, tempera, and acrylic on an assortment of interesting surfaces.

Sculpture/Collage
Work with wire, wood, paper mache and other sculptural materials to create in 3-D.

Clay
Come play with all kinds of clay: air dry, oven-bake, and kiln-fired. Learn about the potters' wheel, coiling, slab constructing, surface drawing and texturing.

Open Studio
Let your imagination guide you. Student artists will choose the medium in which they create. This encourages self- confidence and independent thinking.
